    The aim of the study was the development of extraction procedures for the isolation of carotenoids, especially lutein, from medicinal plants (Calendula officinalis, Tagetes sp.), the obtaining of fragrances from Magnolia × pruhoniciana blooms, or the separation of waxes from Miscanthus sp. stalks.
