Zaměřovací akce České akademie věd a umění vedená Národopisnou komisí při ČAVU byla prováděna její užší Komisí pro vědecký výzkum, soupis, zpracování a vydávání památek české kultury lidové a probíhala v letech 1941–1946. Soustředila významný dokumentační pramen především pro studium dřevěného lidového stavitelství na území protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Cílem bylo prostřednictvím měření, kreslení a fotografování zachytit regionální typy lidového domu včetně místních forem. Dokumentaci pro oblast Brd pořídili architekti Vojtěch Kubašta, Rudolf Unger, Vladimír Jeníček, Vladimír Nevšímal a Bedřich Schránil.

The survey action of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Art (CASA) led by the Ethnographic Commission at the CASA was conducted by the narrower Commission for Scientific Research, Inventory, Treatment and Publication of the Monuments of Czech Folk Culture and took place in 1941–1946. It concentrated a signicant documentation source for the study of the wooden vernacular architecture on the territory of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The aim was capture the regional type of the folk home including the local forms through measurement, drawing and photography. The documentation for the area Brdy was made by the architects Vojtěch Kubašta, Rudolf Unger, Vladimír Jeníček, Vladimír Nevšímal and Bedřich Schránil.
