This study deals with the history and structure of the single-volume Old Church Slavonic Dictionary Based on the Texts of 10th and 11th Centuries (Staroslavjanskij slovar' (po rukopisjam X-XI vv.)), originally published in Moscow in 1994, and the revised and supplemented edition of this dictionary, which the Institute of Slavonic Studies of the Czech Academy of Sciences has been compiling since 2000.
