Výstava prezentuje proměny venkovské architektury v 19. a 20. století převážně na Moravě a ve Slezsku (Jihomoravský, Moravskoslezský, Olomoucký, Zlínský kraj a kraj Vysočina). Přináší možnost pohlédnout na současnou architekturu moravského a slezského venkova z jiného, méně obvyklého úhlu. I na první pohled obyčejné domy mohou být nositeli historické a památkové hodnoty a stejně tak je v sobě může skrývat vesnický urbanistický celek. Výstava je dílem pracovníků oddělení topografie ÚDU a je jedním z výsledků projektu “Proměna venkovské architektury s důrazem na vývoj v 19. a 20. století” (NAKI II, id. kód DG16P02H02H023, ve spolupráci s ČVUT). Výstava se konala v Baťově institutu ve Zlíně a později také v Knihovně Jiřího Mahena v Brně, 3. 12. 2018 - 31. 1. 2019.

The exhibition thus demonstrates the historical transformation of the architecture on a sample of villages in the area of Moravia and Silesia during the last two centuries. It offers the possibility of looking at the countryside architecture from another, less common angle. Even ordinary houses can provide historical as well as heritage values. The same applies also for a rural urbanism. The exhibition was prepared by members of the Department of Topography within the project “Transformation of the Rural Architecture with the Emphasis on the Development in the 19th and 20th centuries” (NAKI II, DG16P02H02H023, in cooperation with the Czech Technical University in Prague). The exhibition was held in Baťa Institute in Zlín and in Jiří Mahen library in Brno, 3rd December 2018 - 31 January 2019.
