Recenze se zabývá významnou publikací o hraničním jevu byzantského liturgického cyklu, jakým byla scéna Mládenci v peci ohnivé. Zasazuje závěry této práce do širšího kontextu bádání o performativním elementu v byzantské kultuře.

The review deals with a recent influential publication on the liminal phenomenon in the Byzantine liturgical cycle, the scene Three Youth in the Fiery Furnace. It puts conclusions of this work into the wider context of research of the performative elements in Byzantine culture.
