This paper presents a digital holographic method for the measurement of periodic asymmetric temperature fields. The method is based on a modified Twymann-Green setup having the double sensitivity in comparison to the commonly used Mach-Zehnder interferometer. In order to capture the same image multiple times, a triggered CCD is used, synchronized to the coherent, periodical phenomenon. The recording of the phenomenon from different viewing angles allow for the 3D measurement, while the coherence and the triggering allow us to record time resolved data. With employment of tomographic principle the presented method permits the 3D measurement with use of only one digital camera. The reconstruction of 3D volume based on tomographic approach is also introduced.
