Publikace představuje průběžné výsledky práce badatelského týmu v rámci projektu Ohrožená architektura města Mosulu (Strategie AV21). Publikace pojednává o ničení historických památek v Mosulu ze strany Islámského státu, systematicky pojednává o jednotlivých fázích architektonického vývoje města a v závěru představuje metody virtuálních 3D rekonstrukcí nenávratně zničených budov
The publication presents the research results of the project “Monuments of Mosul in Danger” supported by the Strategy AV21 of the Czech Academy of Sciences. It focuses on the destruction of historical monuments by the organization ISIS in Mosul. It describes the waves of destruction, historical value of the city and also possibilities of virtual reconstruction of the destroyed monuments
