Functionality of a microfluidic device made of polydimethylsiloxane for testing epithelialmesenchymal transition of cancer cells is presented. Arrays of micropillars as obstacles
with different spacing are a prerequisite of high throughput measurements and standard evaluations of cellular deformability and migratory activity. The miniaturization
of the device with the total migration path length less than 1mm significantly shortened analysis time. The device is compatible with fluorescence microscope in a time-lapse setup
to visualize variability of mechanical properties of many individual cells under identical conditions. Cells were monitored for several hours.
