Text je překladem Brentanovy přednášky týkající se ontologického důkazu Boží existence. Brentano nastiňuje historii a vývoj pojetí tohoto důkazu u Anselma, Descarta, Leibnize, Huma a Kanta. V závěru nabízí své vlastní vyhodnocení jeho platnosti.

The text is a translation of Franz Brentano lecture on the ontological proof of God’s existence. Brentano describes the history and nature of the development of the proof in the work of Anselm, Descartes, Leibniz, Hume and Kant. In the end, he offers his own assesment of proof’s validity.
