These results could contribute to the understanding of the hygroscopic behaviour of submicron multicomponent particles and their influence on heterogeneous chemistry in the atmospheric environment. In addition, it could be used for models to improve the estimation of interaction parameter for PEG group (CH2OCH2) with the carboxyl group (COOH).
