Pořádaný workshop byl věnován analýze knihy jako tradičního komunikačního média raného novověku. Jeho cílem bylo postihnout charakteristické rysy období přechodu z výhradně rukopisné formy knihy ke knize tištěné a počáteční období paralelní existence obou forem i jejich vzájemné ovlivňování.

The workshop was focused on analyzing the book as a traditional communication medium of the early modern period. Its aim was to capture the characteristics of the transition period from the manuscript only form of the book to the printed book and the initial period of the parallel existence of both forms and their interaction.
