Hlavním tématem konference byly vztahy mezi řeholními řády a jejich fundátory a dalšími donátory v časové perspektivě od středověku do konce 18. století ve středoevropském prostoru. Největší pozornost se soustředila na jezuity, ale zastoupeny byly další ˵novéʺ řády, které působily na území habsburské monarchie (kapucíni, piaristé, milosrdní bratři, barnabité), ale i tzv. staré řády (augustiniáni poustevníci, dominikáni či pauláni).

The main topic of the conference was the relations between the religious orders and their founders and other donors in the time perspective from the Middle Ages until the end of the 18th century in the Central European space. The most important attention was focused on the Jesuits, but other ˵newʺ orders that were active in the territory of the Habsburg monarchy (Capuchins, Piarists, Merciful Brothers, Barnabis), as well as the so-called Old Order (Augustinian Hermits, Dominicans and Paulans), were represented.
