Křemité konkrece šáreckého souvrství poskytují velké množství materiálu vhodného ke studiu interakcí mezi fosíliemi a ichnofosíliemi. Data získaná počítačovou tomografií v kombinaci se studiem povrchových struktur konkrece přinesla nové informace k ichnorodům Stelloglyphus, Skolithos a Gastrochaenolites.

Fossil-rich nodules of the Šárka Formation represent a possibly rich field for the study of interaction of body-fossils and trace fossils, in other words, between shelly and non-shelly fauna. Data from the computed tomography combined with study of structures on the nodule surfaces bring reliable data about Stelloglyphus, Skolithos and Gastrochaenolites ichnogenera.
