The developed method enables reproducible preparation of supported vesicle layer for investigation of interactions of compounds of interest with E. coli mimicking biomembranes by different surface sensing platforms. Also, the description of the adsorption process brings new insight into interactions of E. coli vesicles and calcium cations.
