Publikovaný příspěvek shrnuje základní informace o
mineralogickém složení, ložiskových výskytech, historii
těžby a stavebním a sochařském využití krupníků v širším
okolí Sobotína, Vernířovic a Velkých Losin.
Těžba a používání zdejších krupníků probíhaly
prokazatelně mezi druhou polovinou 17. století a počátkem
20. století. Hmotné památky i věci denní potřeby vyrobené
z krupníku jsou v současnosti evidovány na území 22 obcí
a představují důležitý doklad o historii a řemeslné
dovednosti dřívějších obyvatel tohoto regionu.

mining and building and sculpture utilization of walnuts in the wider
the surroundings of Sobotín, Vernířovice and Velké Losiny. Within the Czech
Republic represents the rock an almost unknown rock,
which practical use for the production of refractory materials
or in stonework and sculpture was tied in the past
on this very limited area of Sobotín.
The mining and the use of local buckwheat took place
proven between the second half of the 17th century and the beginning of the
20th century. Tangible monuments and daily necessities made
from buckwheat are currently registered in 22 municipalities
and represent an important proof of history and craftsmanship
skills of the former inhabitants of the region.
