Snímač byl vyvinut pro měření tvaru optických ploch v různých fázích leštění, kde drsnost povrchu neumožňuje interferometrické techniky. Snímač využívá pokročilé techniky tvarování paprsku.

The sensor was developer for measurement of a shape of optical surfaces in various stages of polishing process where surface roughness does not allow interferometric techniques. Sensor employs advanced beam shaping techniques.
