Účastníci se seznámili s právy a povinnostmi původce a zaměstnavatele. V části věnované autorskému právu - komplexní a stále se rozvíjející problematice ochrany produktů vědy a výzkumu - jsme se zaměřili na aktuální třecí plochy těchto dvou oblastí. Soustředili jsme se zejména na samotný obsah ochrany autorského práva s důrazem na úpravu práv ve vztahu k vydavateli, zveřejňování v režimu open access nebo alternativními metodami, specifika obranného publikování nebo vědeckého zveřejňování. Závěrečná část semináře se věnovala publikaci jako povinné součásti patentového systému i jako překážce udělení patentu (a naopak), časové ose publikací a jejich důsledků při ochraně průmyslových práv a při komercializaci, utajovaným vynálezům a odloženému zveřejnění.


Participants learned about the rights and obligations of a creator and an employer. In the part devoted to copyright - a comprehensive and ever-growing issue of protecting science and research products - we focused on the current friction areas of these two fields. We focused on the very content of copyright protection with an emphasis on legislation in relation to publishers, publication in the open access mode or through other alternative methods, specifics of defensive publication or scientific publication. The final part of the seminar focused on publishing as an obligatory part of the patent system as well as an impediment of granting a patent (and vice versa), further it focused on the timeline of publications and their implications for the protection of industrial rights and commercialization, classified inventions and deferred publication.
