Článek se zabývá hraničářskou Výstavou českého severu, zvláštním oddělením Výstavy severních Čech, uspořádané v Mladé Boleslavi v létě 1927. Výstava je zasazena do kontextu aktivit školního inspektora v České Lípě Josefa Maštálka (1876–1950), který se snažil z Mladoboleslavska vytvořit středisko podpory českých hraničářů a Lužických Srbů. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována reflexi výstavy a formování jejího mediálního obrazu.

The article deals with the borderland-oriented Exhibition of the Bohemian North, a special part of the Exhibition of North Bohemia, held in summer 1927 in Mladá Boleslav. The exhibition was set in the context of activities of the school inspector in Česká Lípa Josef Maštálko (1876-1950) who tried to make the region of Mladá Boleslav a centre of support for the Czech borderland inhabitants and the Lusatian Sorbs. Particular attention is paid to the reflection of the exhibition and the formation of its media image.
