Tento příspěvek sumarizuje zejména aktuální výzkumné směry a výhled do budoucna: konkrétně snižování environmentálních dopadů energetického využití alternativních a odpadních paliv, nové koncepce a postupy čištění spalin a odpadních plynů, postupy snižování emisí skleníkových plynů a možnost využití nových procesů jako je zplyňování pro decentralizovanou produkci tepelné, či elektrické energie.

This paper summarizes the current research directions and future prospects with respect to the abatement of environmental impacts of the energy use of alternative and waste fuels, new concepts and procedures for flue gas cleaning, greenhouse gas emission reduction and the possibilities of application of new processes such as gasification for decentralized thermal and/or electricity production.
