Text analyzuje některé aspekty kodifikačního procesu a jejich výsledků v kodifikačních příručkách v oblasti proprií v českém jazyce. Přestože kodifikace byla vždy definována jako popis jazykové normy, způsob, jakým se v kodifikační praxi zachází s proprii, ukazuje, že jsou často zpracovávána, aniž pro ně vzhledem k nízké frekvenci nějaká norma existuje. Tuto situaci nazýváme v příspěvku apriorní kodifikací, která je založena na kritériu systémovosti a vývojové progresivnosti. Tato kapitola se zaměřuje také na některé další problémy spojené s tímto typem kodifikace a uvádí příklady konkrétních proprií, která mohou být předmětem této kodifikace.

The chapter analyzes some aspects of the proces of codification of proper names in the Czech language and its results in dictionnaries and grammar books. The codification was always defined as a description of the language norm, however, in reality, proper names are often described in handbooks even if there is no norm for them. In this text we call this situation „a priori codification“, which is based on the criterion of system and progressivity. In addition, this chapter focuses on some other issues related to this kind of codification and presents examples of particular proper names that can be subjects of this codification.
