The meeting focused on issues like the status of fictional characters, the ways of their identification and co-identification, the role of proper names in the texts of literary fiction and in the discourse about fiction, the relation between the actual world and the fictional world of a literary work, the nature of the authors’ creative acts, the concept of „truth in fiction“, the role of imagination in interpreting fiction etc. Its aim was to provide an opportunity for discussing Stacie Friend’s views on these and related topics.
