    An important requirement put on operation of high speed vertical flywheels is minimizing energy losses generated in the flywheel supports. A simple technological solution that makes it possible consists in lifting the flywheel by a pair of permanent magnets. The carried out research was focused on implementation of the magnets in computational models, expressing the energy losses and on the study of efficiency of this design arrangement.
