    Program EPNOSE (Evaluation of Phase in uncertain and NOisy SEries) identifies culminations (maxima and minima) of filtered and Hilbert-transformed time series, and calculates the uncertainties of depth-domain and time-domain positions of the individual culminations. The result makes it possible to evaluate the phases and phase uncertainties of astronomical (Milankovitch) cycles in time series that are affected by depositional diagenetic and analytical noise.
