Kapitola je věnována česko-německým vyrovnávacím dohodám uzavřeným na moravském zemském sněmu v listopadu 1905. Autor popisuje příčiny uzavření tohoto politického kompromisu, průběh vyrovnávacích jednání a rozebírá jednotlivé zákony tvořící obsah vyrovnávacích dohod. Stručně se zabývá i hodnocením tohoto česko-německého kompromisu současníky i pozdějšími historiky.

The chapter is concerned with the Czech-German settlement treaties concluded at the Moravian Diet in November 1905. The author describes the causes leading to conclusion of this political compromise, the course of the settlement proceedings and analyses the individual laws that make the contents of the settlement treaties. He briefly comments on assessment of this Czech-German compromise by the contemporaries and more recent historians.
