This research focuses on a mixing of plasma species inside the discharge and in the near outlet regions of the hybrid–stabilized argon–steam electric arc. The so called combined diffusion coefficients method was applied here to study the mixing processes. Diffusions due to pressure, temperature, concentration and an electric field gradients are taken into account. Numerical results demonstrate inhomogeneous mixing of argon–steam plasma species for the all studied conditions
