A fast method for evaluation of membrane disruption/alteration capabilities of surface active compounds was developed using a combination of nanoplasmonic sensing together with capillary electrophoresis. Based on the proposed analysis method it will be possible to give a basic biomembrane toxicity overview of newly developed surfactant compounds.
