Článek popisuje historický vývoj lesů v CHKO Pálava a vliv změn během 20. století na současnou vegetaci v Národní přírodní rezervaci Děvín. Obnova tradičního pařezinového managementu v posledních letech vede ke zvýšení diverzity bylinného podrostu lesů.

This paper describes the development od forests in the Pálava Landscape Protected Area and the impact of the 20th century changes on the present vegetation in Děvín National Nature Reserve. Restoration of the traditional coppicing management in the last years has led to increase of diversity of the forest herbaceous understory.
