Článek přináší výsledky archeobotanických analýz z několika situací zkoumaných na katastru Horní Břízy (okr. Plzeň-sever). Analýzy byly provedeny na materiálu odebraném z naoraných pravěkých a středověkých objektů, zjištěných povrchovým průzkumem. Pro potřeby těchto analýz došlo mimo jiné poprvé na území České republiky k využití vzorků z povrchových vrstev ornice.

The article presents the results of archaeobotanical analyses from several archaeological situations investigated in the cadastral area of Horní Bříza (Pilsen-North District). The analyses were carried out on the material taken from the prehistoric and medieval objects, as determined by the surface survey. For the purposes of these analyses was, for example, for the first time in the Czech Republic, the use of specimens from the surface layers of the orchard.
