Molekulárním klonováním byl sestrojen rekombinantní plasmid nesoucí cDNA sekvenci fimbriálního proteinu F41 baktérie E.coli (Adhesinu F41), kódujícího celý protein bez signální sekvence (23-277) a N-koncový 6xHis-tag. Plasmid byl použit k produkci proteinu o délce 269 aminokyselin a celkové velikosti 28.4 kDa. Ověření proteinu bylo provedeno pomocí ELISA, SDS-PAGE a Western blotu. Protein může být použit k diagnostickému průkazu přítomnosti protilátek v séru a kolostru imunizovaných zvířat metodou ELISA.

Molecular cloning was used to construct a recombinant plasmid vector carrying cDNA of F41 fimbrial protein (E.coli), coding for a full-length F41 protein lacking the leader peptide sequence (23-277), and modified by 6xHistidin tag at the N-terminus. This plasmid vector produces protein of 269 amino acid residues and the molecular weight 28.4 kDa. Protein identity was confirmed by SDS-PAGE, Western blot and ELISA. This recombinant protein can be used for the investigation of antibody level in serum and colostrum of immunized animals by ELISA method.
