Text se zabývá počátky inspirace lidovou kulturou ve výtvarném umění v Čechách. Popisuje roli inspirací venkovskou kulturou a lidovým uměním v první polovině 19. století v kontextu dobového myšlení o umění. Naznačuje způsoby, kterými konkrétní inspirace pronikaly do tvorby řady umělců v Čechách.

The text analyses the origins of inspirations with folk culture in Bohemia. It describes their role during the first half of the 19th century and studies how these inspirations were introduced into the works of some respective artists in Bohemia.
