Předkládaný vynález poskytuje přípravek pro zvýšení vzcházivosti a podporu růstu rostlin (zejména obilnin), jehož podstata spočívá v tom, že obsahuje extrakt z pupenů topolu černého (Populus nigra L.) a/nebo jeho mezidruhových kříženců v množství 0,5 až 99,5 % hmotn., a alespoň jeden nosič v množství 0,5 až 99,5 % hmotn. S výhodou je přípravek při použití ve formě vodné emulze pro postřik rostlin obsahující 0,5 až 10 % hmotn. extraktu z pupenů topolu černého a/nebo jeho mezidruhových kříženců.
