    Newly developed Poly-L-Lysine coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (PCSPIO) were compared with dextran coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles DCSPIO (Endorem®) for cytotoxicity and labeling efficiency in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), olfactory ensheathing cells (OECs) and chondrocytes (CHONCs) i.e. in cell most often used in human medicine. PCSPIO labeling was more efficient and more cells remained viable when compared to DCSPIO
