Newly developed Poly-L-Lysine coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (PCSPIO) were compared with dextran coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles DCSPIO (Endorem®) for cytotoxicity and labeling efficiency in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), olfactory ensheathing cells (OECs) and chondrocytes (CHONCs) i.e. in cell most often used in human medicine.
