ISRM European Rock Mechanics Symposium took place in June, 20-22.2017 in Ostrava city, the third largest city in the Czech Republic with unique industrial and minin heritage site. This event represented a famous European symposium of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) which is the biggest nonprofit proffesional organization in the world of Rock Mechanics. European Rock Mechanics family is a basement of the society which consists of 60 national groups of many countries around the world and has more than 8000 individual members.
