    Silica-monolithic capillary columns were synthesized by hydrolysis of tetramethoxysilane in the presence of polyethylene glycol and urea under acidic conditions at elevated temperature. Prepared columns were modified by the stationary phases, suitable for HILIC HPLC separations.
    Separation power of synthetized columns is demonstrated by separations of nucleic acid bases, nucleosides, and 2-deoxynucleosides.
