Der Beitrag führt in das Heft Themenheft „Theatralität in Literatur und Kultur” (= Germanoslavica 25 (2014), 2) ein. Es werden die Zielsetzung und die thematischen Schwerpunkte herausgestellt und die einzelnen Beiträge des Heftes detailliert beschrieben. Das Heft – so das Resümee - stellt insgesamt den Versuch dar, die west- und osteuropäische, die germanistische und slawistische Wissenschaft zusammenzubringen in der Arbeit an einem gemeinsamen, von Grund auf grenzüberschreitenden Forschungsgegenstand.



The article introduces the issue „Theatricality in Literature and Culture” of Germanoslavica 25 (2014), 2. The objectives and the thematic focus are highlighted and the individual contributions of the issue are described in detail. The issue, as the summary says, represents the attempt to bring together Western and Eastern European, Germanic and Slavic scholarship in the work on a common, cross-border research object.
