Studie analyzuje stěžejní práce předních moderních historiků, kteří se zabývali problematikou dějin českých zemí v 15. století. Zjišťuje, že jako periodizační termín má pojmenování poděbradská éra (1437 – 1471) opodstatnění pouze v rámci Čech, nikoliv v historii dalších zemí České koruny.

The study analyzes the main works of the leading modern historians, who dealt with the issues concerning the history of the Czech Lands in the 15th century. It comes to the conclusion, that as the matter of periodization, the term Era of George of Poděbrady (1437–1471) is justified in the Czech lands only and does not apply to the history of the other Lands of the Bohemian Crown.
