Stať prezentuje dosavadní výzkum polychromie krásnoslohové Madony ze Šternberka, která se od ostatních kamenných krásnoslohových českých madon odlišuje červenou barvou Mariina pláště. Doposud nelze rozhodnut, zda jde o původní nebo až pozdně gotickou polychromii.


The paper presents the exploration of the polychromy of the Madonna of Šternberk. She differs from the other Madonnas of the beautiful Bohemian style by the red colour of her coat. It is impossible to decide whether the colour is original or late gothic polychromy.
