Prostředek pro uchování, transport a aplikaci kmenových buněk k léčebnému použití, tvořený pufrovaným vodným roztokem trehalózy. Roztok obsahuje jako nezbytné složky kationty K+ v množství 20 až 50 mmol/l, kationty Na+ v množství 20 až 80 mmol/l, anionty Cl- v množství 0,5 až 40 mmol/l, anionty PO43- a/nebo HPO42– a/nebo H2PO4– v celkovém množství 20 až 65 mmol/l, a trehalózu v množství 60 až 300 mmol/l. Koncentrace složek jsou voleny tak, aby hodnota pH roztoku byla 7,1 až 7,6. Prostředek je určen k uskladnění buněk při teplotě –4 °C až 25 °C, s výhodou 0 °C až 8 °C, nejčastěji 4 °C až 6 °C. Dostatečná životaschopnost buněk je přitom zachována po dobu minimálně 72 hodin. Prostředek se skládá z farmaceuticky přijatelných sloučenin a může být použit přímo k aplikaci kmenových buněk, které jsou v něm uchovány. Prostředek obsahující kmenové buňky je určen k léčbě zánětlivých onemocnění včetně posttraumatické zánětlivé reakce po poškození nebo úrazu a také k léčbě degenerativních a neurodegenerativních onemocnění. Prostředek obsahující kmenové buňky lze dále využít při léčbě traumat, vývojových vad, hojení ran a popálenin kůže, k náhradě tkání, léčbě nemocí pohybového aparátu (šlachy, klouby, zánětlivá onemocnění – artritida, osteoartritida), kostních defektů, diabetu, mrtvice, kardiologických a onkologických onemocnění.

The device for storage, transport and application of stem cells for therapeutic use, consisting of a buffered aqueous trehalose solution. The solution contains, as essential components, cations K+ in the amount of 20 to 50 mmol/l, cations Na+ in the amount of 20 to 80 mmol/l, anions Cl- in the amount of 0.5 to 40 mmol/l, anions PO43- and/or HPO42– and/or H2PO4– in the total amount of 20 to 65 mmol/l, and trehalose in the amount of 60 to 300 mmol/l. The concentration of the components is chosen so that the pH of the solution was between 7.1 and 7.6. The device is designed for storing cells at a temperature from 4°C to 25°C, preferably 0°C to 8°C, most preferably 4°C to 6°C. Sufficient cell viability is maintained for at least 72 hours. The device consists of pharmaceutically acceptable compounds and may be used directly for application of the stem cells contained therein. The device containing stem cells is intended for the treatment of inflammatory diseases, including post-traumatic inflammatory responses after damage or an injury as well as for the treatment of degenerative and neurodegenerative diseases. The device containing stem cells can be further used in the treatment of traumas, developmental defects, healing of wounds and burns of the skin, tissue replacement, treatment of locomotor system diseases (tendons, joints, inflammatory diseases - arthritis, osteoarthritis), bone defects, diabetes, stroke, cardiological and oncological diseases.
