Studie sleduje vztah mezi dílem Maurice Blanchota a Věry Linhartové, a to na základě úzkého propojení témat touhy, spánku (snu) a smrti. Sepětí těchto motivů je přítomno v tvorbě obou autorů, především v re-interpretaci orfického mýtu a tématu překročení smrti, nemožnosti smrti, zkušenosti vlastní smrti. V této souvislosti si studie všímá i vazeb na dílo dalších autorů, jako jsou Camille Flammarion, Franz Kafka, R. M. Rilke, Georges Bataille nebo Ladislav Klíma.

The study follows a relation between the work of Maurice Blanchot and Věra Linhartová, based on the near semantic connection of following themes: desire, sleep (dream) and death. The connection of these themes is presented in writings of both authors, especially in poetic re-interpretation of Orpheus myth and in the theme of overcoming death, impossibiliy of death, experience of own death. In this context, the paper offends connections with the poetics of other authors as well, such as Camille Flammarion, Franz Kafka, R. M. Rilke, Georges Bataille or Ladislav Klíma.
