(1) Jan Patočka's habilitation thesis 'The Natural World' (Prague 1936); (2) 'The Natural World' re-meditated by the author thirty-three years later (Prague 1970); (3) Afterword to the first French Translation (La Haye 1976). The monography tackles the development and criticism of the phenomenology of Husserl and Heidegger.
