A method for the detection of dicarboxylic acids in atmospheric aerosols was developed. The method is based on the continuous sampling of aerosols in GT/ACTJU collector into deionized water and on-line preconcentration of acids in collector effluent on a preconcentration column. DCAs were eluted using a KOH solution and analysed using ion chromatography.
