Studie se zabývá fenoménem genealogické ilegitimity. Věnuje pozornost relevantním raně novověkým právním normám a mechanismům meliorace postavení nelegitimních dětí na příkladech potomstva jihočeského rytíře Jindřicha Pouzara z Michnic na Žumberku († 1600) a původem španělského válečníka Dona Baltazara de Marradas y Vique († 1638).

The study deals with the phenomenon of genealogical illegitimacy. It pays attention to the relevant Early Modern Age legal norms and mechanisms of ameliorating the position of illegitimate children on the examples of the offspring of a Southern Bohemian knight Jindřich Pouzar of Michnice resident at Žumberk († 1600) and a military figure Don Balthasar de Marradas y Vique († 1638) of Spanish origins.
