The conference addressed the issues of overcoming global threats and developing inter-cultural dialogue, including religious tolerance and inter-faith dialogue, exploring stability and developing mutual cooperation. The theme of global threats includes an analysis and ideas for the solution of various cultural, religious, military and other conflicts. The theme is connected with issues of peace, nonviolence, mutual cooperation, etc. The theme of inter-cultural dialogue contains here a debate between European secular cultural and religious perspectives, on the one side, and Islamic religious and cultural perspectives, on the other. The theme of stability is linked to the topics of plurality of public models, participation of citizens, democracy, rights, and the rule of law.
