Výstava připravená odborníky z Historického ústavu Akademie věd ČR v pražském Valdštejnském paláci zachytila Karla IV. jako osobnost mnoha tváří, jak během jeho působení ve 14. století, tak v přetrvávajících stopách jeho činů v současné české a evropské společnosti. Výstava se konala pod záštitou předsedy Senátu Parlamentu České republiky Milana Štěcha a předsedy Akademie věd ČR Jiřího Drahoše. Výstavou si Senát připomenul výročí 700 let od narození tohoto významného státníka, politika a diplomata.

Exhibition prepared by experts from the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague Wallenstein Palace caught Charles IV as a person with many faces, both during his life in the 14th century, and in the footsteps of his persistent acts in contemporary Czech and European society. The exhibition was held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Senate Milan Stech and President of the Czech Academy of Sciences Jiri Drahos. Senate’s exhibition recalled the anniversary of 700 years since the birth of this eminent statesman, politician and diplomat.
