Kapitola srovnává čtyři edice "Dějin strany mírného pokroku" z let 1963, 1977, 1982 a 2015. Pokládá otázku, do jaké míry kompoziční schémata dodaná jednotlivými editory odpovídají dochovanému rukopisu. Autor dochází k závěru, že všechna dosavadní vydání jsou nedostatečná, a formuluje několik zásad pro nové vydání Haškova významného díla.

This chapter compares four editions of "The History of the Party of Moderate Progress" from 1963, 1977, 1982, and 2015, asks to what extent the compositional schemes imposed on the text by different editors agree with the available manuscripts. Author finds all four editions defective and, accordingly, argues for the re-edition of this important work.
