This collaborative research focuses on a mixing of plasma species inside the discharge and in the near outlet regions of the hybrid–stabilized argon–water electric arc. The so called combined diffusion coefficients method was applied here to study the mixing processes. Diffusions due to pressure, temperature, concentration and an external electric field gradients are taken into account. Numerical results show inhomogeneous mixing of argon–steam plasma species for all the studied conditions
