V kapitole se uvádějí současné znalosti o možnostech zvyšování kognitivních schopností člověka pomocí t.zv. farmakologického enhancementu a kognitivního enhancementu působením magnetického pole či působením stejnosměrného elektrického proudu na mozek člověka. Současně jsou diskutovány etické aspekty této problematiky.
This chapter reviews available information about the possibilities to enhance human cognitive capacity with the aid of so called pharmacological enhancement, as well as with cognitive enhancement achieved by transcranial magnetic stimulation of the brain or by the influence of DC current on brain function. The ethical aspects of this topic are also discussed.
