Studie analyzuje reprezentativní soubor čtyřiceti tisků, které byly v letech 1540-1601 dedikovány arcivévodovi Ferdinandovi II. Tyrolskému. Tento reprezentativní vzorek ukazuje jeho mecenášský profil a mapuje klientský okruh autorů. Studie upozorňuje na specifické rysy Ferdinandova literárního patronátu a charakterizuje jeho "mediální obraz", který tyto dedikace pomáhaly vytvářet.

The study analyzes a representative collection of forty print books, which were dedicated in the years 1540-1601 to Archduke Ferdinand II of Tyrol. This texts shows his philanthropic profile and mapping the client group of the authors. The study highlights the specific features of Ferdinand´s literary patronage and characterizes his "media image" that this dedication helped create.
