Předneseno na:11th International Workshop on Electric Probes in Magnetized Plasmas (IWEP),Sozopol, BG, 16-19.09.2015, The radial distribution of the main plasma parameters in the scrape-off-layer of the COMPASS tokamak was studied in L-mode regime using new electrical probe mounted on a horizontal manipulator. The new probe head consist of two probe tips: one is oriented parallel and the other - perpendicular to the magnetic field lines. The radial profiles of the plasma potential and the electron energy distribution functions, i.e., the electron temperatures and densities, were derived from the measured Langmuir probe current-voltage characteristics by applying the first-derivative probe technique (FDPT). During the experiment three different shots with accretive average density (density scan) and three shots with different plasma current (current scan) were studied. The evaluated plasma parameters by the FDPT using the parallel and the perpendicular probe tips show satisfactory
