Biomass presents one of renewable sources of energy. Biomass is an alternative source of energy in countries where amount of fossil fuels is insufficient. The article is aimed mto use biomass for bio fuels production, where one of the component is graphitic slate from Burkina Faso and other additives based on biomass. It can be stated, that mixed fuel with ratio graphitic slate, waste biomass, waste light oil (50 % : 40 % : 10 %) has calorific value about 15 MJ/kg. Produced briquettes or pellets correspond to the parameters for solid fuel.
